Le haut du classement en mode confinement
Les semaines passent et se ressemblent inlassablement. Call of Duty : Modern Warfare continue sa course en tête sereinement sans l’ombre d’un nuage à l’horizon. Il est d’ailleurs toujours poursuivi par l’éternel duo Fortnite et GTA5. Pareillement, on pourrait dire la même chose sur les 15 premiers de ce classement qui ont, à une exception près, fait les « statues » durant cette semaine. On doit, d’ailleurs le premier remous à Red Dead Redemption 2 qui échange son siège avec Madden NFL 20. Cependant, la première vague vient surtout d’un jeu vieux de 2015 dont le jeune frère monopolise la première place depuis un moment. Vous avez trouvé ? Oui une autre itération de la licence Call of Duty, en l’occurrence le Black Ops 3, remporte 5 positions et se hisse dans les 20 premiers du classement. Il est d’ailleurs suivi par son autre aîné, le Black Ops 4 et montre que la licence d’Activision reste un rouleau compresseur vidéoludique imperturbable. Tout simplement impressionnant !
Le Xbox Game Pass plus fort que le Nemesis
Si l’on devait surtout retenir une chose de ce classement infiniment calme, c’est le peu d’impact et d’évolution du dernier épisode des Resident Evil. En effet, ce dernier, déjà arrivé de manière timide la semaine de sa sortie, n’arrive pas à vraiment décoller. Celui-ci ne grimpe seulement que d’une place pour sa deuxième semaine d’exploitation pour pointer en place 37. On ne va pas se le cacher, cela reste loin des autres jeux sortis récemment en comparaison ( Doom Eternal et Ori and the Will of the Wisps en tête).
Le vrai gagnant reste le Xbox Game Pass qui arrive souvent à propulser des titres très souvent peu mis en lumière auparavant. C’est ainsi que cette semaine, le bénéfice revient à la meilleure entrée de la semaine, en l’occurrence Journey to the Savage Planet qui rentre directement à la 28ème place. Également, on pourra noter que Nier Automata : Become as Gods Edition arrive à se maintenir à son rang pour sa deuxième semaine dans le service de Microsoft. Sans aucun doute, c’est une jolie performance pour ce J-RPG solo qu’il faut humblement souligner !
Un Minecraft peut en cacher un autre…
Pour terminer, on va parler des nouveaux arrivants et de ceux qui nous ont malheureusement quitté. Trois autres titres, en plus de Journey to the Savage Planet, ont fait un come-back dans le top. C’est ainsi que Warframe, The Elder Scrolls V : Skyrim Special Edition et Minecraft (Version Windows10) réapparaissent parmi les 40 jeux les plus joués sur l’écosystème Xbox. Par conséquent, Minecraft se la joue grande star pour incorporer deux versions du même jeu au sein du même classement.
À contrario, nous devons dire donc au revoir à Totally Reliable Delivery Service, Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint, State of Decay 2 : Juggernaut Edition et Bleeding Edge. Le premier avait bénéficié d’une attractivité fulgurante grâce à son arrivée dans le programme Game with Gold d’avril. Malheureusement, il n’aura tenu qu’une petite semaine. Quant au second, il a pu jouir d’un week-end gratuit couplé avec la sortie de son deuxième DLC pour refaire le plein de joueurs mais comme pour les 3 autres de la liste, il a du tirer sa révérence. Pour finir, State of Decay 2 se sera fait une deuxième vie agréable dans le top depuis sa Juggernaut Edition et Bleeding Edge n’aura tenu que deux semaines en attendant, peut-être, un prochain contenu. Mais eux aussi ont fermé la porte en sortant.
