Comme nous le pressentions la semaine passée, Call of Duty : Modern Warfare reprend sa place de leader du top. L’arrivée de son mode Battle Royal « WarZone » avec ses 15 Millions de joueurs cumulés a eu forcément un impact sur la hiérarchie. Et cela se traduit par un chapardage en bonne et due forme de la première place à Fortnite qui se retrouve relégué à la deuxième marche.
Je le disais plus haut, le classement connait beaucoup de chambardements cette semaine. Cinq jeux font leur apparition en tant que nouveauté ou bien, en tant que retour, après plusieurs semaines voire mois d’absence. Bien entendu, cela implique cinq victimes qui ont, elles, quitté les faveurs des joueurs. C’est ainsi que, Kingdom Hearts 3, Yakuza 0, Two point Hospital, Monster Hunter World et Plant vs Zombies : Battle for Neighborville payent les frais des nouveaux arrivants.
Et le premier venu n’est autre que Ori and the Will of the Wisps qui effectue la meilleure entrée et se pointe directement à la 15ème place. On aurait presque espéré un peu mieux pour le dernier jeu de Moons Studios. Son lancement en milieu de semaine et la présence de quelques couacs de fiabilité ont sans doute joué en sa défaveur. La deuxième nouveauté n’est autre que le MMORPG édité par Bandai Namco, Bless Unleashed. Longtemps en bêta-test, l’exclusivité temporaire Xbox de Round 8 Studios se positionne à un honorable 32ème rang. La diversité fait toujours du bien, espérons que son succès perdure si le suivi est au rendez-vous !
Les trois autres larrons effectuent une ré-entrée (remarquez enfin la présence du signe qui matérialise ce fait !) dans le classement. Tout d’abord, la refonte graphique et les multiples rajouts présents dans la Juggenaut Edition, ont permis une vrai bouffée d’air frais à State of Decay 2 qui se pose en deuxième meilleure catapultage de la semaine. Ensuite, la dernière bêta avant la sortie de Bleeding Edge, pourtant placé en fin de semaine, a eu du bon. Ce week-end de test le fait entrer par la petite porte en position 35. Et enfin, le dernier invité n’est autre qu’un vieux de la vieille Assassin’s Creed Odyssey en toute dernière position. Sa récente promotion a sans doute permis un léger boost dans son utilisation.
En dehors de toute cela, on remarquera que NBA2K20 continue son ascension depuis sa présence dans le Xbox Game Pass et gagne 2 places cette semaine. Pour finir, la plus forte progression revient à Mortal Kombat 11 avec un bénéfice de 5 rangs ! L’arrivée prochaine de Spawn et sans doute d’un prochain Kombat Pass ont sans doute rameuté les foules pour ce sanglant versus Fighting ! A contrario la plus forte chute pour un total de 6 places en moins, a été effectué par Brawlhalla. Le Super Smash Bros like d’Ubisoft a bien failli sortir de l’arène !
